PDMU or Personal Development for Mutual Understanding, is a statutory part of the Northern Ireland Curriculum, this means that all primary schools are required by law to teach PDMU. RSE (Reslationships & Sexuality Education) is one part of PDMU.
The aim of PDMU is develop articulate, confident young people who are are aware of their individual special qualities and uniqueness. We aim to celebrate the gifts and talents we all have and to be a valued member of our school and society in general. PDMU also celebrates our differences and recognises the rich fabric of our school and the world we live in.
