In P3 we visit the Polytunnel every week. Have a look at our Autumn activities.
1- Bird cakes; we use healthy food suitable for birds and other wild life to create a bird cake, then we hang the cakes on our trees for the birds to enjoy.
2- Clay faces; we learnt about proper nouns in literacy, we created a character and gave them a name, we had to describe all the natural materials we used to create them.
3- Colour sort; we have been learning all about chlorophyll and why leaves change colour, today we found resources outside to match our colour samples.
4- Time to hibernate; we have learnt all about animals getting ready for winter, we had to create a safe and fun place for different animals to hibernate.
