Today we marked the 100th day of school by doing lots of "100" things! In Literacy time, we tried really hard to read books with more than 100 words, and we tried to write 100 words ...and some of us actually did! In Numeracy we chose how to "play" with 100: we painted 100 spots, we made towers using 100 Lego bricks, we made multilink rods 100 cubes long, we wrote numbers to 100, we made a paper chain with 100 links, and we counted out 100 things. In P.E. we jumped 100 centimetres, we ran on the spot for 100 seconds, we tried to make 100 catches without dropping the pompom (we got to 74), and we did 100 star jumps! Mrs Cartmill said surely that's a world record, and her sore legs will attest to that!
