Today we had a fantastic active learning session which helped us to develop our mental maths strategies and our use of mathematical language. We worked in groups of 4 to use the IZAK9 cubes. We were given lots of challenges to complete and had to work together as a team to find the solutions. We then explained the strategies we used and thought of ways we could improve our thinking skills and methods.
We all enjoyed it and everyone voted to do it again soon!
