February continued to be a very busy month in primary 1. We continued with out topic of fairytales until half term, so we kept up our work in the builders yard, visited Carrick Castle and continued to play with the castle in our classroom. After half term we changed our topic to night, for our role play we have a night cave and we have begun paint Starry Night pictures. In numeracy we continued working on numbers to nine by making sets and other practical activities. We also began adding on one, we are doing really well with is and Miss Morrison is so proud. We kept up with our sorting and we are now sorting using 3D shapes. In literacy we are continuing to work on our blending and segmenting skills, Miss Morrison can't believe how clever we are.
