October was such a busy month! We had so many visitors in school to help us learn about ourselves. We have been busy reading lots of fiction and non-fiction books to learn about our bodies and growing up. We did some science experiments about germs spreading and the need to wash our hands. We loved learning about our senses and going on a senses walk around school - we even found apples to taste from our garden. We have made lots of patterns, learned about number 3 and even found out about cuisenaire rods. We learned about long and short and loved going on a triangle hunt around school. We have enjoyed counting syllables in words and learning about instructional writing - using bossy words was so fun!
