It's hard to believe that P1 have been in school for 9 weeks. They have all settled so well and we have had so much fun. October was another busy month. We continued with our All About Me topic, we had a visit from baby Oliver, nurse Stephen and his ambulance. We also learnt all about germs and nasties and how to stay clean and healthy. In numeracy we learnt all about the number three, long and short, pattern and staircases with cuisenaire rods. In Literacy we continued with our rhyming and started to look at syllables. We wrote instructions for the Little Princess so she knows how to wash her hands properly. P.1 started PE, they are great at getting ready themselves. We even had a go on the adventure playground, it was really tricky but fun. I hope all the boys and girls have a super half term holiday! Enjoy the rest!
