Finally it was no more sleeps and farm day was here, we all got on the bus with our lovely friends in Miss McLaughlin's class and went on a very noisy bus journey to Streamvale farm, here we were met by Alison our guide for the day. We got to milk a pretend cow, see the milking parlour, find out what happens to the milk before we buy it, hold chicks, feed hens, feed the reindeer, feed the goats, kids and lambs and we even got to see Farmer Duck, thankfully he was getting to have a day off! At lunchtime we got to have a picnic lunch outside with our friends, then we went to the play park before getting on the bus home! We had such a fun filled day that some of us fell asleep on the way home! We are now looking forward to completing some work in class based on our farm trip.
