P2 celebrate Chinese New Year
10th Feb 2016
Mrs Cartmill's Primary 2 class have been learning about Chinese New Year. We made dragons, lanterns and cards during play-based learning. We saw videos of the lion dance and the dragon dance. Jenson and Jamison's mum sent in some lovely New Year's decorations and clothes, and she even sent a lucky red envelope for each one of us! Today we had our much-anticipated "dragon parade". We waved our dragons, banged the drums and shouted, "Gong hei fat choi!" Ask your child if you don't know what that means!
