As part of our Refugees topic, we made sandals or shoes out of recyclable materials as a homework task. Some refugees and people in developing countries can go without footwear for years and resort to making shoes out of old tyres.
Our shoes needed to fit our feet and stay intact as we walked the length of the classroom. The designs created were fabulous and we really enjoyed walking the room. Thank you parents for your support with this task.
