Primary 1 Morrison in October
We had so much fun in October in Primary One! We started P.E were we played listening games. We really love P.E! In numeracy we continued to develop our sorting skills, we learnt all about number three and how to write it! It's a tricky one! We also started ordering numbers to 5! Primary one were introduced to Cuisenaire rods and started carrying out maths investigations. In literacy we continued to develop our rhyming skills and began looking at syllables. Miss Morrison says we are very good at clapping out syllables, we love playing syllable games. We even got a visit from a famous poet called Jim. In World Around us we continued to look at all about me, we read Georgie Grub who wouldn't take a bath, we learnt how to take a bath properly and got to practice on the babies in the water tray. We also taught Miss Morrison how to wash her hands properly, she put on soap, then dried them and then put them in the water. P1 told her she was very silly and showed her how to do it properly. During play based learning we continued to have a lot of fun in the hospital and had the introduction on the ambulance for any emergencies.
