Today P1 were making bridges for the 3 Billy Goats to cross the river. First the children got in to groups, decided on their team name and were given different roles (the leader, the resource manager, the time keeper and the reporter). Then they started to work as a team to design their bridge. Next they selected the materials they thought they would need. We were ready to build our bridges. There was great team work, super language and counting happening throughout the activity. After we had built our bridges, we had to test them. All the bridges were able to hold a goat for 10 seconds! We evaluated our work and thought about what we would change next time. P1 are all engineers!! Well done!
