What a fantastic day we had, made even better by the good weather! We were so excited to get on the bus and go to the farm, we sang lots of songs on the bus. When we arrived we met farmer Michelle. Then we got our snack to give us energy before going for our tour. We left our coats in the room as it was so warm.
We saw rabbits, ponies, donkeys, pigs and little piglets, calves, goats, chicks, puppies, sheep, deer, hens, roosters, turkeys and alpacas! So many animals! We even saw the sheep dog rounding up the sheep!
We went on a tractor ride, fed the animals, stroked them, ‘milked’ a pretend cow and saw the milking parlour and heard all about the journey of milk!
We got to have a play in three different parks and had a picnic lunch! What a tiring day, the adults were exhausted never mind the boys and girls.
